Dr Tania Holz is an educational psychologist based in Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa.


She has worked with children and families since 1989 in her capacity as a teacher and later as an Educational Psychologist. She has experience and training with regards to psycho-educational assessments, intervention and diagnosis, psychotherapy and psycho-legal assessments and intervention within her scope of practice. She is further accredited as a Family and Divorce mediator and Supervisor of mediators and Educational Psychology Interns.

She has a 14 years’ experience as an Educator in the primary and high school setting (mainstream and specialised).


As an Educational Psychologist she has 19 years’ experience: Therapy and intervention with children, adolescents and adults as well as families, psycho-educational assessments, psycho-legal assessments, supervised contact, bonding therapy between children and estranged parents, acting as mediator and Parenting Coordinator, acting as Educational Psychologist in the school setting (specialised and mainstream), affiliation with wellness programmes such as Careways.

Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of South Africa – 2001

Bachelor of Arts Honors in Educational Psychology from The University of South Africa – 1996
