Choose what you wish to carry on your shoulders: being positive during a pandemic.
Following the bewilderment of hearing about the Covid pandemic and then having to get my head around lockdown, masks and sanitising I found myself a little shellshocked. This having been said, I do feel that the journey has shifted some of my mind sets and challenged some of my core beliefs about the world as a whole. With this in mind I would like to share some thoughts and experiences. This morning I heard a caller on the radio say that people are Covid fatigued. While listening to this I felt a weight settle on my shoulders and my smile melt. However, the radio show host commented straight away by saying that, yes, be that as it may, we should reframe our mindset from Covid fatigued to Covid smart and adjust. Suddenly, I felt the pressure lift and a feeling of hope take its place. Sometimes, the words of others can have such a downloading or uplifting impact on us. We need to be aware of this and chose which load to accept and take on.
